TanXSyndicate

FAQ

Straight answers about buying graded Pokémon cards from TanXSyndicate.

What is TanXSyndicate?

TanXSyndicate is an independent online store for graded Pokémon cards, PSA and CGC slabs, sold direct from the collector and shipped across the United States. It is run by the same seller as the eBay store tanxsyndicate, which has 100% positive feedback.

Is buying here cheaper than buying the same card on eBay?

There is no marketplace in the middle. eBay charges trading card sellers a 13.25% final value fee on the total sale plus a per-order fee, and sellers usually build that into their price. TanXSyndicate doesn't pay that cut on its own site, so prices here don't need to carry it. Shipping and insurance are free on every order.

How are your prices set?

Every price is set as close to current fair market value as we can verify, based on recent comparable sales and market data at the time of listing. The graded card market can move daily, and because each card in inventory was acquired at its own cost, pricing does not always adjust in lockstep with every short-term shift in the market — a price may be held steady rather than lowered immediately if doing so would fall below what was paid to acquire the card. Our goal is a price that is fair and competitive over time, not a moment-to-moment mirror of the market. If a listed price looks out of step with current market conditions, reach out through Contact and we're happy to take a look.

How do I know a graded card is real?

Every graded card lists its certification number, and that number links straight to the grading company's own lookup (PSA or CGC). It's the same result as scanning the QR code on the slab. You can check it before you buy.

What is the Cert-Match Guarantee?

The card you receive is the exact cert number and grade shown on the listing. If the certification number on the card you receive doesn't match the listing, you get a full refund and return shipping is paid for you.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on every order with no minimum: USPS Priority Mail with tracking, typically 3 to 5 business days. Overnight (USPS Priority Mail Express) is $55. Most orders ship within 1 business day.

Are orders insured?

Yes. Every order includes $100 of carrier coverage at no charge. Orders over $100 are insured for their full purchase price, and orders of $100 or more require a signature on delivery.

Where do you ship?

All 50 US states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, US territories and military APO/FPO addresses. International shipping isn't offered yet.

Can I return a card?

All sales are final, with one exception: if the certification number on the card you receive doesn't match the listing, you get a full refund and return shipping is covered. Report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery.

How do I pay?

Checkout runs on Shopify. It accepts major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Can you find a card that isn't listed?

Yes. Use the Request a Card page to tell us the card, grade and budget, and we'll try to source it.

Where do the population numbers come from?

Population figures come from the grading company's records and are accurate as of the date the card was listed. They change over time as more copies get graded.
